On Campus Applications

The On Campus Programmes are full- time courses. Attendance is compulsory at all times.

In order for GIA to write an admission letter and enrol you we will need the following:

    1. A completed application form

    2. A copy of your high-school/college diploma or any other document that proves that you have completed secondary education.

    3. A copy of your passport

    4. 2 passport size photographs

    5. £100 Application fee (non refundable)

    6. Refundable Deposit (please note that we are unable to confirm your place in the programme until we have received the deposit and application fees.)

Deposit Amounts:

    1. Graduate Gemologist Programme - £2,000

    2. Graduate Diamonds Programme - £2,000

    3. Graduate Colored Stones Programme - £2,000

    4. Jewelry Design Programme - £1,000


The remaining balance for your selected programme will then be due on or before Orientation Day as indicated in your letter of enrolment.

For International Students Only

For international students we would also need along with tall the above documents:

    1. Proof of your English proficiency (TOEFL-minimum score 500, ELS Certificates – level 109, IELTS-Band 5 or higher, or proof of graduation from secondary education with English as main language of instruction).

      For students taking the TOEFL test: GIA London is a registered school. When you are taking the test quote Registration Number 8932.

    2. We will need to receive a copy of your Student Visa in your passport at least 30 days prior to the start of the Programme in order to confirm your place in the class.

IMPORTANT for INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION

Please note that once you have received your Student Visa from the British High Commission Embassy they must be informed if you withdraw from the course you originally sought admission for. Your future in seeking another Visa to enter the UK may be affected. GIA will inform the British Home Office of any international students who do not arrive or who do not continue with the class.
