Next GIA London Alumni Event: Hazel Forsyth

You are cordially invited to attend a talk by

Hazel Forsyth FSA
Senior Curator, Post-Medieval Museum of London

Rediscovering the Cheapside Hoard

The Cheapside Hoard, the largest cache of Elizabethan and Jacobean jewellery in the world, will be the subject of a major exhibition at the Museum of London in the Autumn 2013. Gemmological and metallurgical research is helping to transform our understanding of the working practices, manufacturing techniques and craft-skills of the early-modern goldsmith-jeweller and the extent of London's role in the international gem and jewellery trade.

Hazel is pleased to be able to join us to educate us on this fascinating treasure.
